School Counselor's role: 

• Counseling:

Providing individual and group counseling to address student needs, including academic, social, emotional, and career-related challenges. 

• Guidance:

Delivering developmental guidance curriculum, assisting students with academic and career planning, and helping them navigate the college application process. 

• Consultation:

Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other school staff to develop and implement strategies for student success. 

• Advocacy:

Promoting equity and access for all students, advocating for their needs, and ensuring they have the resources to thrive. 

• Program Management:

Organizing and implementing school-wide programs, such as career fairs or workshops on study skills.
